Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent professioanl services organization located in the Minneapolis area needing to add to their Accounting team!
Pay:
$65,000-$75,000 Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Hybrid/Remote Flexibility Full Benefits, PTO,401k match and more! Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or applicable standards) Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Maintain documentation for audits and support internal/external audit requests Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations Qualifications 1-3+ years of relevant accounting experience (public or private) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) CPA or CPA candidate preferred (optional depending on company) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
