Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStaff Accountant Fort Myers, FL (must be local) Mostly remote $60,000-$70,000 We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Fort Myers. This role offers a mostly remote schedule, but candidates must reside locally and be available to come into the office as needed. Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting schedules
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
Assist with financial reporting and analysis
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2-5 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with accounting software systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a mostly remote environment Additional Details
Mostly remote with occasional in-office presence required in Fort Myers
Salary range of $60K-$70K depending on experience

Pay Details:
