The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least five years of accounting and tax experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and previous experience in both an ERP system and tax processing system are preferred. This position is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed review of corporate and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and multi-state regulations Assist with late-stage tax processing, including final adjustments and cleanup efforts ahead of filing deadlines Review and analyze multi-state SALT filings, identifying discrepancies and potential compliance risks Finalize extended corporate and partnership returns, including Forms 1120 and 1065 Address complex tax matters related to entity structures, allocations, and reporting requirements Resolve review notes and make necessary corrections directly within tax software systems Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely submission of all filings
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field CPA would be preferred Five or more years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax accounting Exposure to ASC 740 (tax provision work) is a plus Proficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar platforms Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in manipulating large data sets Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
Pay Details:
