Tax Accountant (CPA Firm)

Job DescriptionJob Description We are currently looking for a detail oriented professional as a Tax Accountant for our growing Emerging Business/Tax department servicing our clients located predominantly in Long Island. Position Summary The Tax Accountant can expect to participate in the preparation of corporate, partnership, trust, estate, non-profit and personal tax returns, and perform complex bookkeeping. The candidate should have an understanding of financial/accounting principles and tax compliance, be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking, can work autonomously and likes to be challenged. Responsibilities Preparation of corporate, partnership, trust, estate, non-profit and individual tax returns. Input, categorization, reconciliation, etc. for complex bookkeeping clients using QuickBooks online. Assist with preparation and quarterly and annual tax projections for business owners. Participate in tax projects. Assist with the review and adjustment of client's books and records.
