Job Description
Small CPA firms are a bit like restaurants. The really good ones usually aren't the biggest. And they're often the ones you've never heard of. This firm in Great Neck has around 10 people and is growing steadily without trying to become a 400 person machine overnight. Strong tax base. Rapidly growing audit practice. Real estate, construction, co ops, condos and HNW clients make up a big chunk of the work. They're looking for someone with 2 to 3 years of tax experience who wants to learn audit as well. Perfect for someone who's a bit bored of being boxed into one lane. In office culture. Hands on Partners. Proper mentoring. Busy season usually runs until 7pm to 8pm so no pretending it's a "lifestyle firm"... but equally, you'll learn a lot and get exposure most larger firms take years to give. CPA candidate preferred. ProSystem experience helpful but not essential. If you want somewhere entrepreneurial where your career can grow alongside the firm itself, this could be worth a conversation.
