Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Reviewer to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in reviewing tax returns and accounting work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality. As a key member of our firm, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial services and maintaining our standard of excellence. Key Responsibilities Tax Review and Preparation Review individual and business tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations Prepare tax returns as needed Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date filings Accounting Services Review bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records Provide accounting insights and recommendations to clients Client Interaction Communicate with clients to gather required financial information Address client inquiries and explain tax and financial matters clearly and professionally Foster strong client relationships and ensure a smooth engagement process Compliance and Reporting Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards Prepare and review financial reports for internal and client use in a timely manner Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of tax experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred but not required) CPA or EA certification (or in progress) preferred Proven experience reviewing tax returns and accounting work Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow firm procedures and policies Preferred Experience Familiarity with GoSystem, SurePrep, and Practice CS is a plus
