Tax Senior Accountant Frisco TX Boutique CPA Firm We are a growing boutique CPA firm seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, prepare and review tax returns, assist with accounting projects, and develop well-rounded experience across multiple areas of public accounting. Our firm consists of approximately 15 team members and is known for providing a professional, organized, and supportive work environment. What You Will Do Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, corporation, trust, and other tax returns Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax projections Review and analyze client financial information Assist with bookkeeping, accounting, and QuickBooks projects Prepare and review Forms 1099 and other informational filings Communicate directly with clients regarding tax and accounting matters Participate in tax planning and consulting engagements Assist with special projects and other client service needs as they arise Work closely with managers and firm leadership to provide exceptional client service What We Are Looking For This role is ideal for someone who: Has a bachelor's degree in accounting Has approximately 3 to 5 years of public accounting experience Has experience preparing business and individual tax returns Has strong review and analytical skills Communicates professionally with clients and team members Is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments Enjoys learning and working on a variety of tax and accounting projects Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Experience with CCH tax and accounting software Experience with multi-state taxation and tax planning Schedule and Compensation Full-time or part-time opportunities available Hybrid schedule available after training, with the ability to work from home 1 to 2 full days per week Busy season hours generally range from 45 to 55 hours per week
Compensation:
