Job Description

Title:
Accountant Salary:
$80,000 – $85,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Perform property-level accounting for a portfolio of real estate entities
  • Maintain general ledger activity and prepare supporting schedules
  • Collaborate with property management and asset management teams on financial operations
  • Assist with annual audits and tax preparation by compiling required documentation and schedules
  • Contribute to process improvements and perform ad hoc financial analysis
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Real estate accounting experience preferred; affordable housing experience strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
