Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing financial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, coupled with exceptional analytical skills. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and post journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely reporting. Support tax preparation and filing processes. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
