Job Description

Under general supervision, performs professional duties in the creation and maintenance of accounting records, the review and analysis of financial transactions, and the external and internal reporting of financial information. Audit and process voucher invoices (purchase orders and direct pay). Ensures committed expenditures are coded in compliance with State and Departmental policies. Serves as vendor liaison for billing issues to include researching and reconciliation of payments. Responsible for processing Offender Refund Requests and Escrow Payment Requests in
SCEIS. A
high school diploma and entry-level experience in accounting or bookkeeping. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for required work experience. Bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
