Job Description:

We are seeking a professional Tax Accountant to join a growing team in Spartanburg, SC . This is a full time, permanent/Direct Hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of previous sales/use tax experience.

Job Description:

Calculate and file of Sales and Use Tax returns for multiple entities in multiple states Track and payment of Property Taxes for multiple properties in multiple states Calculate and file of Occupancy Tax returns Calculate and file gross receipts tax, excise tax, business & occupation tax Research and monitor changes to tax laws to ensure adherence to applicable regulations Interpret and comply with state and local statutes, regulations, and legislation Provide guidance based on research of tax laws and regulations Develop process procedures based on business need Assist with sales and use tax audits Oversee reconciliation of tax-related general ledger accounts

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 2+ years of sales and use tax experience 2+ years of expereince with tax filing Experience in a multi-state, multi unit enviornment Strong MS Excel skills Expereince with Sage Intact (Bonus)

Hours:

Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm) 100% onsite

Compensation & Benefits:
