Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a growing organization in Greenville, South Carolina, in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position offers the opportunity to support a broad range of accounting and corporate finance activities while working closely with multiple departments across the business. The role is fully on-site and is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day accounting work with broader operational and reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completenessPerform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and intercompany)Assist with month-end and year-end close processesMaintain and analyze general ledger accountsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededPrepare financial reports and assist with variance analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesAssist with audit preparation and provide documentation as requestedIdentify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
