Full-Time Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the company's accounting operations through accurate daily cash management, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliation. This role works closely with Accounts Payable and other finance team members to ensure transactions are recorded accurately, discrepancies are resolved promptly, and financial data remains reliable and compliant with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash activity, including monitoring, recording, and reconciling cash transactions. Process and maintain Key2Bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely posting to the general ledger. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Ensure posted accounts payable transactions were properly coded. Monitor and review unbilled accounts payable, following up as necessary to ensure timely resolution. Track and review direct shipments to ensure timely & accurate invoicing. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support financial reporting and audits. Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls. Requirements Qualifications 3-5 years of General Ledger and/or Accounts Payable experience. College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated work experience in an accounting role will be considered. Cash reconciliations experience required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments. Work Environment Office-based accounting role within the finance team. May require occasional additional hours during month-end or audit periods. Apply View All Jobs
