Essential Functions Tax Preparation & Accuracy:
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Financial & Advisory Support:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and contribute to accounting and business consulting services that support client decision-making.
Bookkeeping & Data Integrity:
Perform general ledger activities, including reconciliations and adjusting journal entries, maintaining accurate and reliable financial records.
Collaborative Engagement Execution:
Partner with senior staff, managers, and partners to complete client engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Client Interaction:
Communicate professionally with clients to gather documentation, clarify financial information, and support a seamless client experience.
Documentation Excellence:
Maintain organized, audit-ready workpapers in alignment with firm standards and best practices.
Tax Planning Exposure:
Support tax planning and compliance initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in identifying opportunities and solutions for clients.
Technology & Process Utilization:
Utilize firm technology and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy, with exposure to emerging tools and automation.
Continuous Development:
Actively pursue learning opportunities to build technical expertise and advance within the firm.
Peak Season Performance:
Effectively manage workload demands during busy seasons while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Certification:
Active CPA candidate or CPA license (required).
Experience:
1-2 years of public accounting experience preferred, with exposure to tax and/or client accounting services. Attention to

Strong organizational and time-management skills with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Communication Skills:
Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Technical Skills:
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Learning Agility:
Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new concepts, technologies, and processes in a fast-paced environment.
Team Orientation:
Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to client service and contributing to team success.
