Job Description
Audit Senior/ManagerPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior/Manager to lead and oversee audit engagements for our diverse clientele, including government and non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in GAAP and a passion for ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
Review and finalize audit reports, financial statements, and other client deliverables.
Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing solutions to enhance their financial practices.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and financial reporting.
Assist clients with tax preparation and compliance, specifically focusing on IRS Form 990 for non-profit entities.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree is a plus.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on government and non-profit sectors.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
