Job Description

Candidate must be able to review and correct client prepared accounting records and have full charge accounting experience. Experience with income tax return preparation for businesses and individuals is required. Must be familiar with business taxes, sales tax, payroll taxes, and liquor taxes. Must have experience with QuickBooks, Xero and Drake Tax Software. Accounting degree or extensive experience is required. CPA firm experience would be very helpful.

Summary As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be a vital asset in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. With core skills in accounting principles, GAAP, and proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and conducting thorough balance sheet reconciliations. Your premium skills in tax accounting, tax compliance, and technical accounting will be instrumental in handling complex financial matters and ensuring regulatory adherence. Leveraging your relevant skills in financial report interpretation, tax experience, and financial management, you will contribute to the organization's financial success and strategic decision-making.   • Manage and oversee client's financial records and transactions.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, utilizing tax experience effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparations.
  • Apply knowledge of GAAP and financial concepts to maintain accurate financial records.
