We primarily serve the television production and entertainment industries, with clients including Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and HGTV!
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and manage general ledger for a variety of businesses Manage day to day A/P, A/R, and payroll for various clients Prepare monthly account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries Prepare payroll tax reports and post payroll entries Prepare monthly and/or quarterly financial statements Research accounting and financial issues as needed Maintain internal controls and best practices for clients Assist in 1099 and W-2 reporting Ad hoc reporting as directed by management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's degree a plus Problem solving skills Excellent communication both verbal and written Willingness to engage with clients on a regular basis Proficient in Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel) and Google Workspace Proficient in Quickbooks Online a plus Knowledge/experience with general accounting functions, account reconciliation/analysis, and preparation of financial statements Experience with payroll and payroll reporting functions is a plus
