This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, managing job costing, and supporting project accounting functions working closely with the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Manage accounts payable, including subcontractor payments Track and reconcile job costs, budgets, and change orders. Invoicing customers monthly, payment application and balancing. Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Assist with audits, tax filings, and year-end closing procedures. Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting. Maintain vendor and subcontractor records, including W-9s and certificates of insurance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with bookkeeping/accounting support (minimum 2 years preferred). General understanding of construction accounting principles, including job cost coding preferred (not required) Proficiency in Quickbooks software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Pay Details:
