Certified Public Accountant. Prior or current public tax accounting experience Prior or current corporate tax accounting experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for C corporations, partnerships, and S corporations, in coordination with external tax firms. Manage the calculation and review of quarterly estimated tax payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain ownership of tax workpapers, calculations, rollforwards, and documentation supporting both internally prepared and outsourced work. Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 for a privately held company. Conduct in-depth technical research on complex tax issues, document conclusions, implement guidance and contributing to special projects as required. Collaborate with other internal departments and assist in tax audits, providing necessary documentation and support as needed. Manage tax compliance calendars, including extensions, estimated payments, and filings. Serve as day to day internal lead on outsourced tax engagements, reviewing deliverables and ensuring accuracy and completeness. Supervise, mentor, and review work prepared by direct reports. Manage tax audits, notices, and correspondence with taxing authorities.
