This is a unique opportunity for an accounting professional who wants exposure to all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, business operations, and process development. The successful candidate will work directly with management and ownership as the company transitions accounting functions in-house and builds a scalable finance and accounting department. This is not a traditional corporate accounting position. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, learn the business, help improve processes, and grow professionally as the organization continues to evolve. Position Overview The Staff Accountant will assist with the day-to-day accounting activities of a multi-location dealership operation while helping establish accounting processes, reporting procedures, and internal controls. The position will work closely with management, ownership, and the company's fractional CFO and will have significant exposure to all aspects of the business. This role offers substantial growth potential as the accounting department expands. Primary ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Reporting

• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger activity
• Assist with financial statement preparation and review
• Support monthly management reporting Cash & Reconciliation Functions
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Cash account analysis
• Assistance with cash flow reporting
• Reconciliation of operational systems to accounting records Operational & Process Development
• Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures
• Help establish internal controls and reporting processes
• Support implementation of new accounting workflows
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with documentation of accounting procedures and SOPs Analysis & Reporting
• Financial analysis and variance review
• KPI reporting
• Portfolio and operational reporting support
• Ad hoc reporting requests QualificationsRequired
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Two or more years of accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred
• Automotive, dealership, finance company, or inventory-based business experience
• Experience participating in month-end close
• Multi-location accounting experience
