Summary:

This position will support various Operational accounting positions in the Poultry segments to gain experience in Poultry Plants Accounting.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily support for both the Forest and Carthage Plant Accounting teams. Processing of Purchase to Pay P2P transactions and or payment processing. Assist with monthly close process. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations. Perform tasks related to one or more of the following areas: management and retention of documents. Assist with Ad hoc management reports projects as they arise. The position will have the potential to interact with Tyson Team Members across the organization and This position will support Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Yield. This position will be back-up to the plant accountant.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Business degree with 2 years of Accounting Experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Special Skills:

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team. Strong judgment and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with others effectively.
