Job Description

Job Overview Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a stable work history ready for an exciting change? This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your current skills in the dynamic Automotive industry. Even better if you have previous experience within the field. You work day will involve working with leading financial software and accounting systems, contributing to essential financial processes that keep our organization running smoothly. If you're passionate about numbers, detail-oriented, and ready to grow professionally, this role is perfect for you! This position a full-time management role. We fully expect to train our newest team member regarding automotive industry accounting processes if no previous automotive accounting experience. Duties Assist with data entry, account analysis, and journal entries to support accurate financial reporting Perform bank reconciliation Responsible for daily deposits Perform Inventory reconciliation Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments Help prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and assist with audit preparations Conduct monthly ledger reviews and assist with month-end closing activities including double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation Weekly Payroll Manage all functions of the accounting office including employee files and potential additional accounting staff Requirements Minimum 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university Basic understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices preferred Strong data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in 10-key typing and double-entry bookkeeping techniques Excellent math skills combined with analytical thinking for account reconciliation and financial analysis Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to evolving technology Ability to self direct with daily tasks of the accounting office This is an in-person minimum 40 hr week position that requires committment to fully execute the demands of the role. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
