This role will be heavily involved in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and process improvement initiatives while also serving as a resource and mentor to junior accounting staff.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial transactions in accordance with GAAP Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Reconcile asset, liability, and capital accounts on a monthly basis Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and preparation of recurring accounting reports Support property tax, sales/use tax, and other compliance-related filings Assist with internal and external audits including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation Identify process improvements and support evolving accounting procedures within a growing organization Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy Guide and support junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years of accounting experience including GL accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required Experience within high-volume or fast-paced accounting environments preferred Public accounting, regional firm, or CPA background is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Pay Details:
