Experience:
Mid Level Salary:
$65,000 - $90,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This individual will play a key role in our Accounting department, providing critical financial expertise to aid in our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and posting complex journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions 2. Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, verifying and reconciling invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records 3. Producing detailed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements 4. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making 5. Coordinating with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit processes
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other professional accounting certification is highly desirable 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role 3. Proficiency in journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements 4. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) 5.
