In this role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting various financial processes across departments. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records, facilitate audits, and contribute to strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful impact on our organization's success. Duties
  • Monitoring all company accounts balance daily.
  • Finance filing and creating new files/record retention
  • Accounting responsibilities as assigned (a/r, cash receipts, enter revenue accruals).
  • Manage full cycle accounting processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile balance sheets and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for efficient bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Apply GAAP principles to maintain compliance and accuracy in financial statements.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and enhance financial reporting.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to identify changes
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure a quick and accurate month-end close
  • Review invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts related to rent and operating expense payments, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Must be able to accept constructive feedback and take corrective action with a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful and occasionally unpredictable environment and to respond to crisis situations without overreaction or loss of objectivity.
  • Handle wire transfers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial concepts. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar platforms. Knowledge of SOX compliance procedures and internal control frameworks. Ability to perform detailed account analysis, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reviews accurately. Excellent data entry skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong mathematical aptitude combined with analytical thinking for financial review and problem-solving.
