Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our company. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial reporting and streamline accounting processes across various departments. This role is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast paced small manufacturing company where processes are still being improved. Duties Monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations. Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, credit cards, AR, AP, Fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, raw material inventory, and finished goods inventory. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner. Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements. Oversee and assist accounts payable and accounts receivable. Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records. Payroll management using to Payroll Service Provider, ensuring accurate payroll processing and benefits administration. Support Inventory reconciliations between ERP systems, production records, and general ledger. Work with operations to understand production activity and inventory issues. Assist with adjustments, inventory variance analysis, scrap reporting and production-related accounting entries. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent of more than 5 years experience in related field Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
