Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant for an immediate need within a growing manufacturing environment. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to month-end close and process improvements. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth.

This position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership in a lean, fast-paced finance team.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close activities and maintain accurate financial recordsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and follow-upHandle invoicing related to manufacturing operations, including parts and inventoryReview financial statements and transactions for accuracy and complianceAssist with payroll tax support and coordination with external tax professionalsMaintain and update accounting systems, records, and documentationUtilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders including customers, banks, and tax authoritiesIdentify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and streamline workflows
