Job Description:
Unity Search has been retained by a fast-growing, entrepreneurial minded diversified real estate company in Central Dallas in its search for an Executive Director of Accounting . This role is newly created, and will serve as the right hand to the CFO. Truly being the leader of the accounting function for the organization. Compensation will include a competitive salary + a strong bonus potential + profit sharing/co-invest plan that can also be quite lucrative.
Unique Attributes:
Great exposure - role will serve as the right hand to the CFO and lead the strategic direction of the Accounting Department Company has a special profit plan related to the success of its deals Very collaborative culture with a focus on servant leadership Key areas of responsibility include: Leadership and team development Joint Venture Accounting Oversight Corporate Accounting Oversight Systems, Technology & Process Improvement Financial Reporting & Compliance Strategic Partnership with CFO Preferred candidate profile: CPA highly preferred 12-20 years of progressive accounting experience At least 5 years of senior leadership experience overseeing a multi-person accounting team Public accounting foundation a plus Some exposure to real estate accounting required Exposure to accounting for different asset classes (multifamily, industrial, commercial, etc.) highly preferred If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity and meet the desired qualifications, please send your resume to aevans@unitysearch.com
