Job Description:
We are engaged by a family office based in Fort Worth, Texas on a Senior Accountant role. Reporting to the CFO, this Sr Accountant will be a key player for the family office accounting function. The role will entail providing financial analysis of the operating company financials that will help inform the decisions related to treasury, and asset allocation, collaborating with service providers to ensure timely and accurate books are maintained for the family office.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Analyzing the GL accounts of the various operating companies to communicate what is occurring and using trend analysis over time to explain why. Reviewing expense payment requests against an established set of guidelines, and ensuring timely payments are made. Aiding in the implementation and maintenance of an integrated accounting system for the family office. Preparing a monthly report summarizing the financial results of the family office operations. Aiding in the collection and analysis of files for annual tax return preparation. Assisting in preparing and analyzing quarterly budgets. Ad-hoc requests focused on providing data to the family to support the periodic fast-paced dynamic environment.
Looking for:
CPA preferred not required 2-8+ years of experience in accounting strong Microsoft Office skills Great communication skills
