The The Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including tracking the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other financial activities related to restaurant operations. Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including assets, liabilities, and profit and loss statements Ensure all financial activities comply with applicable tax laws and company policies Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Record, track, and monitor financial transactions related to restaurant operations Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation Assist with multi-entity accounting processes Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications to manage financial data Support overall financial operations and collaborate with internal teams as needed Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance At least one year of experience of related experience required Knowledge of general financial accounting Complete bank reconciliation Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries is a plus Multi- Entity Experience a plus Experience in Cloud Based Accounting Software preferred Proficient in MS Office applications:

Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Key Competencies:

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work both independently and collaboratively High level of integrity and confidentiality

Work Environment:

In-office role based in Carrollton, TX Primarily desk-based with standard office activity
