In this pivotal role, you will lead cost management initiatives, analyze financial data, and ensure accurate cost reporting to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise will help optimize operational efficiency, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the company's financial health. The ideal candidate is passionate about financial analysis, possesses strong technical accounting skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform detailed cost analysis, including cash flow analysis and budget forecasting to support operational planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements through rigorous internal controls and account reconciliation processes. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and communicate insights clearly to management for strategic decision-making. Support corporate accounting initiatives by managing data collection efforts, performing double entry bookkeeping, and assisting with audit preparations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPG Industry Experience or Similar Industry Extensive experience in public accounting or corporate finance roles with a focus on cost management and financial analysis. Strong understanding of GAAP standards, SOX compliance, technical accounting concepts, and financial report writing. Demonstrated ability to perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation effectively. Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, payroll management, and general ledger accounting practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately. Effective communication skills to present financial insights clearly across teams and leadership levels.
