Frisco, TX Job Details 15 hours ago Qualifications Spreadsheets GAAP Excel data analysis Full Job Description About the role As a Staff Accountant, you'll support core accounting and finance operations by maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close processes, and assisting with reporting and analysis. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure transactions and processes are executed efficiently and in alignment with accounting standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, takes ownership of their work, and is looking to grow their expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. What you'll do Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepaids, and variance analysis Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and ensuring data accuracy Monitor transaction activity to ensure timely and accurate processing Collaborate with operations and sales teams to support business and financial needs Work within ERP systems (NetSuite) to support accounting workflows Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Maintain and improve accounting documentation and procedures Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process gaps What you'll bring

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience 1-3+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger exposure Strong understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
