As part of our expanding corporate team, you'll have direct visibility into company performance and the opportunity to influence financial processes, reporting, and decision-making. This is not just a transactional role, you'll be a key contributor in supporting a scalable accounting operation and supporting a fast-growing, innovative brand. We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys improving systems and processes, and takes ownership of delivering accurate, insightful financial information. Key Responsibilities Support month-end close and financial reporting processes. Develop and refine accounting workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general ledger. Perform accrual accounting in compliance with US GAAP. Support audits, tax filings, and state business registrations. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure complete and accurate financial data. Partner with leadership on special projects and ad hoc analysis. Perform all other projects and duties assigned by leadership. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (equivalent experience in lieu of degree accepted) Three (3) years of progressive accounting experience, including AR and AP. Two (2) years of experience using QuickBooks Strong expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements, and managing finance-related tasks Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, audit support, and system implementations Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining fixed asset records Solid understanding of accrual accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll processes Able to accurately generate reports for stakeholders and investors, including ad hoc reporting Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines Preferred Qualification Industry experience in retail, gaming, construction, entertainment, food and beverage, or hospitality Experience working in an accounting position for medium-sized and large organizations Two (2) or more years of experience with Bill.com One (1) or more years of Concur experience One (1) or more years of Rippling experience
