Position Overview The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the organization's accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This individual will work closely with leadership while helping maintain accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with the development of scalable accounting processes across multiple business entities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, experience operating in a fast-moving environment, and the ability to mentor junior accounting staff while remaining hands-on in daily accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end close processes across multiple business units Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules Maintain accurate cash-basis accounting records and financial reporting Assist with sales tax compliance and filings Prepare audit workpapers and collaborate with external auditors Support intercompany accounting and consolidation activities Analyze financial data and assist leadership with reporting needs Help improve accounting processes and internal controls as the organization scales Mentor and support junior accounting team members Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and executive leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of technical accounting principles Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and support team members Healthcare, pharmacy, multi-entity, or high-growth company experience is a plus
