00 Salary Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Education Level 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage Negligible Category Accounting Apply Description The Accountant supports the Company's accounting and financial reporting functions through the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, and project accounting activities. This position assists with month-end close, audits, and financial analysis while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Full job description . Provide accounting, reporting and financial analysis support to the Controller and other accounting staff Analyze, reconcile, balance and maintain accounting records Create and enter journal entries including expense accruals Maintain construction in progress project accounting Assist with monthly close, and with the preparation of monthly financial reports Analyze intercompany transactions Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports Prepare audit work papers and assist in audits Support internal controls and accounting process improvements Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams Assist in preparation of regularly schedule tax reporting requirements Assist with ad hoc analyzes and other accounting requirements Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting 3 to 5 years of accounting experience Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of GAAP concepts Must be ambitious, eager to learn and possess strong work ethic Must be a strong communicator with experience taking initiative and functioning independently Physical Requirements This position is primarily performed in an office environment. The employee must be able to operate standard office equipment, work at a computer for extended periods, communicate effectively, and occasionally move between office, shop, and project locations. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required. Mental Requirements The employee must be able to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, maintain attention to detail, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
