  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the organization's strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate accounting, proficiency with various financial software, and a strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Duties Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor relations. Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts. Maintain comprehensive records of transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department. Skills Extensive experience with GAAP accounting standards and principles. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop Expertise in accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger reconciliation. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Strong attention to detail combined with effective organizational skills. This role is integral to maintaining the organization's financial health through meticulous accounting practices.
