Salary:
$85K-$110K ✅ 100% Employer-Paid Benefits + Safe Harbor 401(k) Join a well-established real estate developer with a strong presence in the Houston market High-growth opportunity with clear visibility to leadership and career advancement Direct exposure to CFO and senior leadership Hands-on involvement in development projects, deal activity, and financial decision-making Competitive compensation ($85K-$110K) 3 weeks PTO starting Day 1 Safe Harbor 401(k) with immediate vesting Collaborative, team-oriented environment in a stable, growing organization Responsibilities Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAPAssist with internal and external financial reporting, including investor and partnership reporting packages Support project-level accounting activities, including job costing and tracking of development budgets Maintain and reconcile land, lot, and inventory schedules Assist with preparation and submission of monthly loan draws, including supporting documentation Track and maintain debt and equity activity, including financing schedules and cash flow tracking Coordinate with external auditors and provide documentation for interim and year-end audits Review and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment Collaborate with PMs and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting on active developments Assist with cash receipts, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Min 4-9+ years' accounting experience Some Public accounting experience a MUST (audit background ideal) Experience or exposure to real estate, construction, or project accounting strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience with job costing, WIP, or percentage-of-completion accounting preferred Advanced Excel skills required Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Timberline, or similar) is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with project teams
