The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, general accounting functions and assisting in the annual financial statement audit. The USOSM team works in a fast-paced environment which demands exceptional performance and reaps great rewards, whether it's career opportunities, job enrichment or a supportive working environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support month-end close activities related to AP, payroll, bank reconciliations and financial reporting. Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close and other functions. Assist accounting manager with the transition accounting for new practices. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis on the income statement. Work with large amounts of data to prepare schedules for journal entries, analysis and ad hoc reporting. Prepare supporting schedules required by third party tax firm. Assist the AP Manager in reconciling AP system (Avid) to General Ledger system (Netsuite). Assist Accounting Manager with management of Fixed Asset module and Lease module. Ad hoc support as needed.
Qualifications and Sills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking skills. Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable. Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Ability to work with employees, customers, and partners at all levels of the organization in a professional. Personable, helpful, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and team player.
