Full Job Description Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for tracking the value and changes in the company's assets. Adhere to the policies and procedures related to performing timely and efficient reconciliation of assigned accounts (general ledger, checking, loans, etc.) and exercise close attention to all pertinent details that entails completion of said reconcilements and other job duties as assigned. Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times. Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Processes monthly fixed assets depreciation, reconciles all Fixed Assets general ledger accounts, and investigates asset's potential obsolescence Maintains and reconciles all Accrual general ledger accounts Performs daily Positive Pay reconciliation Remits annual personal property renditions and ad valorem property taxes
Other Functions:
Inputs and maintains monthly capital expenditure items in Flexi Projects Assists management with budget process Prepares monthly branch allocation entries Reconciles HR general ledger and DDA accounts Performs monthly reconciliation of RNT-SCG GL and DDA accounts Assists with all functions related to accounts payable process, including training Backup management in reviewing and approving general ledger tickets, daily post/cross application entries, and reportable items Keep skills current for all assigned cross-trained job functions in order to perform them adequately when needed Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity
Job Requirements Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and/or Five (5) years plus bank operations experience, or Five (5) years plus related accounting experience Solid performer or above rating in all categories in the last four (4) annual performance evaluations Ability to perform the vast majority of the functions/duties within the department and/or a working knowledge Thorough knowledge of applicable general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint, typewriter, and calculator (10-key) Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills Ability to perform delegated managerial duties independently Demonstrates strong leadership abilities, through involvement in internal and external opportunities Provide responsive and timely follow-up Possess strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Possess the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in order to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness, while demonstrating sound judgment and comfort level in decision making High regard for confidentiality and possess a great degree of integrity Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others
General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions:
Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate work station. Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 50% of the time. Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions: atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation; changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches. Other physical attributes required to successfully perform the essential functions above include finger agility, talking, and listening.
