Job Description

NetworkIP is a fast-paced, telecom software company seeking a degreed accounting professional.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Ledger Posting Journal Entries and maintaining General Ledger accounts General Ledger account reconciliations, including multiple bank accounts Accounts Receivable Invoice Data Entry Monthly/Weekly invoicing uploads Post Customer Wires and ACHs/manage deposits Fixed Asset and Depreciation Management Sales Tax - Monthly filings and annual Audit Management Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, including: Data entry Credit card reconciliations and payment Check preparation Financial Statement Reporting Facilitate preparation of monthly financial reporting including Key Performance Indicator calculations and variance analysis
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Accounting degree required 1 or more years of financial statement accounting experience Must have strong Internet and MS Office skills, particularly Excel Must be a concise and effective communicator Experience with Sage100 & QuickBooks or similar accounting software package Experience in financial preparation and analysis a plus Must be a self-starter, organized, and reliable Must have problem solving skills and the ability to work through situations to resolution Must be able to work in a team environment, prioritize & manage multiple projects Must be detail-oriented with good analytical skills Must be able to work and accomplish projects independently Reports to: Controller NetworkIP offers an excellent benefit package, which includes health, life and long-term disability insurance; vacation; paid holidays and 401(k).
