Monthly bookkeeping and tax preparation for individual and business clients. Must be well versed in using QuickBooks Desktop and Online. Must know the essentials of how to set up a company account in QuickBooks. Prepare monthly Financials and sales tax reporting. Comfortable with training clients and bringing them on board for write-up services. Able to communicate with clients on needed items and light tax planning. Must have tax preparation experience in any accounting software and able to prepare above average individual, partnerships, C-Corp and S-Corps, and trust tax returns. Minimum of 6 years experience preferred and Associates Degree required. Eager, willing to learn and Team player is a must. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks online and desktop accounting software Prepare and record journal entries accurately while ensuring adherence to GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping principles Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to verify accuracy and completeness of financial data for up to 30 books per month Generate detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget variance analyses for internal review and external reporting purposes Oversee tax-related activities by preparing necessary documentation and supporting schedules for tax filings while maintaining compliance with governmental regulations Conduct account reconciliations regularly to ensure consistency across all ledgers and resolve discrepancies promptly Support budgeting processes by analyzing financial data to assist in forecasting and strategic planning initiatives Requirements Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Accountant with a strong background in corporate or non-profit accounting environments Proficiency with QuickBooks desktop and online accounting software Solid understanding of GAAP standards, governmental accounting practices (if applicable), and technical accounting concepts Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and general ledger accounting with precision Knowledge of payroll processing, tax preparation procedures, accounts payable/receivable management, and 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven setting Strong communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating with team members or external auditors Join us as we uphold the highest standards of financial integrity while fostering a collaborative environment that values accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
