Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant We're partnering with a publicly traded midstream energy organization for a Senior Accountant as the company continues to expand and strengthen its accounting and reporting functions. As part of their ongoing growth and operational evolution, they are adding a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, general ledger activities, and process improvements across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both technical accounting and hands-on execution within the oil and gas / midstream sector. What You'll Do As a

Senior Accountant:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage and perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support and actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis to leadership Assist with SEC reporting requirements, including 10-K and 10-Q filings Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, operations and internal stakeholders Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA or CPA - eligible strongly preferred 3 - 6+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry experience preferred) Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Oil and Gas or energy industry experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines High level of professionalism and attention to detail Why This Role?
