About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing core general ledger activities, leading close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting, analysis, and audits. The Senior Accountant will also play a mentoring role and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to support business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to support decision-making Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting schedules Maintain, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Supervise, mentor, and review work performed by junior accounting staff Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects and process improvements Support ERP system maintenance and accounting-related technology enhancements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting Experience with general ledger accounting and close processes Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred CPA or CPA-eligible Experience with audits, internal controls Prior experience mentoring or supervising accounting staff ERP Implementation Experience
