Job DescriptionJob Description We are a dynamic, growing CPA firm seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join our collaborative environment. This is a key role for a motivated individual who thrives in a multi-client setting and is passionate about mentoring and developing others.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and provide guidance to bookkeeping specialists, supporting their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work. Review and analyze GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accounting financial statements prepared by bookkeeping specialists on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Manage and maintain your own portfolio of client books, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards. Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and third-party transactions, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Work extensively with QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software platforms to manage client accounts. Utilize Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, and Word, PDF writer for reporting, analysis, and documentation. Collaborate closely with CPAs and other team members to deliver the highest level of service and care to our clients. Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management and effective communication skills. Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the firm.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience accounting, with a strong background in client bookkeeping and financial statement preparation. Public accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting software. Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with a variety of clients and industries is preferred. CPA or progress toward CPA designationWhat We Offer:
