In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support financial reporting processes across various sectors including governmental, and corporate environments. Your expertise will drive accurate financial analysis, streamline accounting operations, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Manage the full cycle of general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end closing activities. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other relevant standards. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy and identify discrepancies for prompt resolution. Support regulatory reporting requirements by compiling data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with governmental agencies' standards. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and other platforms to enhance financial management efficiency. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational planning and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting issues including revenue recognition, payroll processing, and financial concepts application. Lead audits by preparing documentation, coordinating with auditors, and implementing audit recommendations for continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA certification is preferred. Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial management. Strong knowledge of GAAP Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite or similar acccounting platforms; advanced Excel skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, and double-entry bookkeeping accurately. Experience with regulatory reporting requirements and financial statement writing. Excellent analytical skills combined with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Sound understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and technical accounting issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
