Job Summary:
Assist, analyze and report statistical, financial and management information and assist with preparation of related reports and financial statements.
Essential Functions:
Perform account reconciliations with supporting worksheets within established timeframes, resolves variances and prevent reoccurrence with scope of authority. Maintains general ledger and sub ledgers in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as assigned, including preparation of data for monthly journal entries. Prepares and generates requested internal and external data for financial statements. Prepare financial projections, budgets, and variance reports. Reviews reports to verify completeness and accuracy. Responds to management inquiries regarding financial information. Assists with internal and external audits. Develops and assists in implementing policies and procedures to improve workflow. Performs special projects as requested. All functions and responsibilities to be performed within established timeframes.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Conforms to all applicable Agency policies and procedures. Participates actively in continuing education and in-services. Maintains confidentiality of patient information and business trade practices Knowledge / Skills /
Abilities:
Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills Time management Cooperative attitude Advanced written and verbal interpersonal communication Healthcare industry experience required Mergers and Acquisition finance experience necessary. Experience working in a growing start up environment strongly preferred. Experience interacting and reporting to Board of Directors and Stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff members. Excellent Leadership and communication skills. Ability to work overtime as needed. Self-starter / self-motivated. Ability to take initiative as needed.

Treats all information and data within the scope of the position with appropriate confidentiality and security.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or Business Administration required
Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance experience Home Health/Hospice experience preferred Knowledge and experience with lease accounting standards preferred Knowledge and experience with Sage Intacct preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred License /
Certification:
Driver's license and proof of current auto liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing Certified Public Accounting (CPA) required
Environmental Conditions:
Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Moderate noise level; tasks may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens; moderate stress and emotional demands.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs.
