This role reviews actual vs. standard costs, supports inventory valuation, assists with physical inventories, and ensures accurate cost data across the ERP system. Inventory and Cost Accounting & Analysis Support the maintenance and updating of standard costs, cost worksheets, and price lists Analyze actual vs. standard costs and assist in variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead) Assist with new product costing, bundle costing, and promotional cost tracking Prepare recurring cost reports and support ad hoc analysis Inventory & Financial Support Assist in maintaining accurate inventory valuation across locations in accordance with GAAP Prepare inventory reconciliations and support investigation of variances Support tracking and analysis of inventory activity, including adjustments, write-offs, and promotions Assist in maintaining inventory reserves and related documentation Month-End Close Support inventory and cost-related close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare supporting schedules for inventory, cost of goods sold, and accruals Assist in analyzing monthly results and identifying key variances Assist with periodic physical inventory counts. Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Inventory Control, Purchasing, AP, and Receiving to ensure accurate and timely cost data Support communication and data needs across all departments related to promotions and product usage Help resolve day-to-day inventory and cost-related issues Data & Process Support Maintain and update cost-related data within Oracle, including cost setup and GL coding Assist in improving reporting processes and data accuracy Support ERP enhancements (including implementation of Oracle Cloud), reporting improvements, and documentation Audit & Compliance Support internal and external audits

Preferred Qualifications:
We value demonstrated capability and practical experience over formal credentials. A degree in accounting or finance is helpful but not required with relevant experience. 3+ years accounting experience Understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas and nested logic (index/match, xlookups, sumifs, etc) Ability to translate raw data into actionable financial and operational insights Experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) or Oracle EBS
