In-Office Part-Time Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Estimated 3-Month Assignment | Immediate Need A well-established nonprofit organization in the Medical Center area is seeking an experienced Grant Accountant to assist with a temporary project expected to last approximately three months. This organization both receives and administers grants , creating an opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a mission-driven environment while supporting critical financial operations. Responsibilities Track, monitor, and reconcile grant funding and expenditures Ensure compliance with grant agreements, reporting requirements, and funding guidelines Prepare financial reports for grantors and internal leadership Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and grant-related financial analysis Reconcile grant accounts and investigate discrepancies Support month-end close activities related to grants Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records Collaborate with program managers and leadership regarding grant funding and expenditures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Recent experience in grant accounting, nonprofit accounting, or fund accounting required Understanding of grant compliance, reporting, and restricted funds Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and organizational skills Why Consider This Opportunity? ✔ Immediate start ✔ Flexible part-time schedule (Tuesday-Thursday) ✔ Meaningful work supporting a nonprofit mission ✔ Convenient Medical Center location ✔ Opportunity to make an immediate impact during a critical project If you have nonprofit and grant accounting experience and are available to begin quickly, we would love to speak with you.
