Company offers a challenge, team-oriented, great work/life balance and a career path. The Lead Accountant will be a part of improving accounting processes, month end close, financial reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead special projects - such as creating new processes
  • Responsible for the accounting processes - reconciliations, journal entries, and more
  • Participate in month end close
  • Perform financial analysis of income statement
  • Be a resource for questions from internal groups/departments
  • Prepare internal financial reports and complete special projects as assigned by the Accounting Managers, Controllers, Assistant Controllers, or VP of Finance.
  • Assists with identifying risk by evaluating compliance and makes appropriate recommendations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Four plus years of experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business accounting principles, budget preparation, and strong business acumen
  • Strong research, problem-solving and investigation skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and oral
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, planning, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline-oriented

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
