Job Description

One of our clients in San Antonio, Texas is looking to bring on a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team immediately. Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst Prepare cost transfer entries on a monthly basis Participate in the monthly consolidated close, including extended work hours during close to meet deadlines Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP Prepare financial statements and related analyses Prepare account reconciliations for related accounts and resolve any discrepancies Execute internal controls to ensure compliance with
U.S. GAAP
Support internal and external audits Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Analyst Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) 1-2 years of accounting experience Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects concurrently Proficient with common PC software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Must be a U.S. citizen Deltek Costpoint software experience Government contracting experience Click here to apply online
